Professor Chet Quint received his black belt from Pedro Sauer, a 6th degree black belt instructor certified by the world-renowned Rickson Gracie, after ten years of intensive
training in the US and Brazil. Professor Quint also trains with Rilion Gracie, the youngest son of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu founder Carlos Gracie, Sr.
With over 20 years of martial arts teaching experience, Professor Quint holds the rank of black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and three other martial arts (Shuai Jiao, Tae Kwon Do, and Goju Ryu). In 2001, he was the Shuai Jiao National Champion. He has also trained extensively in Kali, Escrima, and Arnis.
Professor Quint has coached several professional MMA fighters in China, who have successfully used a combination of skills from Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Shuai Jiao, and Muay Thai to win a number of competitions in China and abroad.
Professor Quint's career in law enforcement and the military have provided him with extensive practical experience, and his years of competition in amateur and professional martial arts, wrestling and boxing competitions give him in-depth knowledge of the world of competitive fighting.
Like his teachers and their teachers before them, Professor Quint left his home to see the world and spread the art of Jiu Jitsu in foreign lands. In 2005 he moved to Beijing, China to teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and founded Gracie China; China's first professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy.
Jeff Olsen was born in Salt Lake City, Utah were he started training Gracie Jiu Jitsu under Pedro Sauer. He has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for nearly a decade and is a Brown Belt. In that time he has had the privilege of learning from some of the most notable practitioners in Jiu-Jitsu; Masters such as Alvaro Barreto, Sylvio Behring, Relson Gracie, Royce Gracie and Royler Gracie to name a few.
In the time Jeff has spent on the mat he has developed a relaxed, technical style that is typical of a Pedro Sauer student. Like Professor Sauer, Jeff is known for his superlative guard. In 2006 Jeff relocated to Beijing to travel and help spread the art of Jiu Jitsu in the East.
